White House cancels press briefing, citing snow-related federal closures

The White House on Monday introduced it is not going to maintain its day by day press briefing as a result of closure of federal workplaces prompted by snowy climate throughout the Washington, D.C., space.

The Nationwide Climate Service on Monday morning issued a winter storm warning for the District of Columbia and adjoining counties in Maryland and Virginia.
