U.S. Space Force general warns of China’s growing military space potential

The U.S. Space Force’s vice chief of operations warned on Sunday that China is on a speedy tempo in space improvement, including to mounting issues that it might outpace the U.S. in space and achieve military benefit.

Requested on “Fox Information Sunday” whether or not China might take out U.S. sensors and have first strike functionality in space, Gen. David Thompson mentioned “there is a potential,” including, “that is one of the explanations that the Space Force was created” through the Trump administration.
