Tom Brady Pays Tribute To John Madden After Football Legend’s Death

The soccer world misplaced an icon Tuesday evening.

Corridor of Fame NFL coach and legendary broadcaster John Madden died unexpectedly. He was 85 years outdated.

Instantly after the information broke, heaps of tributes for Madden started to pour in. Amongst these to honor the previous Oakland Raiders head coach was Tom Brady, whose first Tremendous Bowl win again in 2002 was colour commentated by Madden.

“John known as our first Tremendous Bowl,” Brady wrote in an Instagram story. “He was at all times so good to me. RIP to a legend of our recreation. My condolences and like to the Madden household.”


Patriots followers will fondly bear in mind Madden’s call as New England put the ending touches on its Tremendous Bowl XXXVI victory over the St. Louis Rams. Madden admitted to having “goosebumps” after Brady, who was in his first season as a beginning quarterback, marched the Patriots downfield to arrange the game-winning area purpose.
