Huge information: The ice is down at TD Backyard.
We’ve seen TD Backyard in motion recently, because the Boston Celtics have performed a handful of the video games of their younger season within the empty area on Causeway Road.
However earlier this week, the ice was laid down, as the beginning of the Boston Bruins season attracts nearer.
The official TD Backyard Twitter account shared a time-lapse video of the changeover from the parquet to the ice, and it’s gripping.
The B’s will start the season Jan. 14 on the highway towards the New Jersey Devils. They’ll play their house opener Jan. 21 towards the Philadelphia Flyers.
