Shudder's eerie 'The Last Thing Mary Saw' trailer is a 19th century creep fest

Horror and faith typically go hand-in-hand within the film world.

This has been drummed in just lately by the likes of Rose Glass’ Saint Maud and Mike Flanagan’s Midnight Mass, and it appears to be like as if the pattern’s set to proceed in 2022. On Thursday, Shudder dropped its trailer for Edoardo Vitaletti’s The Last Thing Mary Noticed – a 19th century-set horror about a woman being interrogated over her grandmother’s demise – and it appears to be like as if there shall be non secular repression (and scares) aplenty.

The Last Thing Mary Noticed arrives on Shudder Jan. 20.
