Actor Sandra Oh appeared at a protest against rising hate and violence against the Asian and Asian American group.
Oh took the megaphone in Pittsburgh on Sunday to share a second with the group, and to take a seat with the anger, worry, and ache many are feeling since Tuesday’s racist assault in Atlanta.
“For many people in our group, that is the primary time we’re even in a position to voice our worry and our anger, and I actually am so grateful for everybody prepared to pay attention,” Oh mentioned earlier than asking the assembled crowd in the event that they had been prepared to step up and assist Asian People.
“I’m proud to be Asian,” she calls out strongly, to an echo from the group. “I belong right here.”
