Ricky Rubio injury: Cavs guard appears to suffer left knee injury

Cavaliers guard Ricky Rubio left Tuesday’s recreation in opposition to the Pelicans within the fourth quarter after struggling what appeared to be a critical left knee injury.

Rubio drove down the lane and tried to sidestep to keep away from the protection when he slipped on his proper foot, then stepped awkwardly along with his left and fell to the ground. He instantly grabbed his left knee and waved for trainers to come to his support.


Rubio suffered a torn ACL in his left knee again in 2012. New Orleans would go on to win, 108–104.
