Report: Former Notre Dame DL Louis Nix Reported Missing

Police in Jacksonville are trying to find former Notre Dame defensive lineman Louis Nix, who was reported lacking on Wednesday, per the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. His mom filed the report on Friday after not having contact with him since Tuesday, according to Ben Kercheval of CBS Sports.
Nix abruptly stopped communication together with his mom, who believes he might be in bother, according to Ben Becker of WJAZ-TV.
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly took to Twitter to hunt help for finding Nix, urging the Notre Dame community to succeed in out to Nix and assist find him.
Nix performed for Notre Dame from 2010-13, redshirting throughout his freshman season in 2010. He notched 122 tackles and 14 tackles for loss throughout his three seasons.
In December, Nix was shot during a robbery at a Jacksonville gasoline station. He required surgical procedure to get well, although Nix’s mom does not believe his disappearance is expounded to the incident.
