Ravens part ways with defensive coordinator Don ‘Wink’ Martindale

Baltimore is parting ways with defensive coordinator Don Martindale in response to a group statement launched on Friday.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and Martindale held a number of productive conversations and agreed to “transfer ahead in separate instructions” per the assertion.
“We had an important run on protection, and I’m very pleased with what has been achieved and the work he has finished,” the assertion learn. “He [Don] has finished an important job.
“Now it’s time to pursue different alternatives. Generally the second comes, and it’s the best time. I’m personally grateful for our friendship and for every little thing he has finished in Baltimore.”
Martindale joined the Ravens teaching employees in 2012 because the linebackers coach and remained within the place till 2017. In 2018, he was promoted to defensive coordinator.
Previous to Martindale’s stint with the Ravens, he served because the Broncos’ defensive coordinator in 2010 and served because the linebackers coach for the Raiders from 2004 to 2008.
