Rapinoe reacts to possible return of former USSF president Carlos Cordeiro


Former U.S. Soccer president Carlos Cordeiro is reportedly fascinated about looking for his previous seat once more after receiving a number of nominations regardless of beforehand resigned amid controversy.  

USWNT star Megan Rapinoe reshared ESPN’s report on Twitter Tuesday, highlighting one portion of the story, “’…after resigning underneath stress’ or resigned bc he embarrassed all the pieces and everybody with caveman ranges of misogyny?”

Cordeiro was elected because the U.S. Soccer Federation president in 2018, however resigned in March 2020 amid backlash from courtroom filings pertaining to the USWNT equal pay lawsuit. The submitting reportedly says they “don’t carry out equal work requiring equal ability [and] effort” to the lads’s crew as a result of “the general soccer-playing potential required to compete on the senior males’s nationwide crew degree is materially influenced by the extent of sure bodily attributes akin to velocity and energy.”
