Petra Mayer, books editor for Nationwide Public Radio, died Saturday of what’s believed to be a pulmonary embolism, the information group stated. She was 46.
Mayer is remembered for her reporting at Comedian-Con and serving to put collectively NPR’s E book Concierge, an annual interactive information that filters titles based mostly on curiosity to advocate to readers. She was an occasional visitor on “Pop Tradition Comfortable Hour” podcast episodes, and her colleagues stated she was a proud nerd who liked science fiction and comics.
