Nick Saban: Alabama felt disrespected heading into SEC title game

It was unfamiliar territory for Nick Saban and Alabama early Saturday afternoon. The staff entered the SEC Championship because the underdogs within the matchup in opposition to No. 1 Georgia however was in a position to pull out a formidable 41–24 win. 

After the game, Saban made it clear that his staff felt a bit of written off going into the SEC title game. 


“All people needed to achieve a bit of respect, and I feel possibly we did,” he stated.

Prior to now, Saban has used the time period “rat poison” to explain the media, followers and any outdoors noise. And when talking to reporters after his staff’s win, he caught to his typical vocabulary and took a shot at anybody who had written off his staff.
