Miami cannot play in Sun Bowl due to COVID-19 protocols

Miami announced that it can’t take part in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl due to COVID-19 protocols on Sunday evening. 

“We’re extraordinarily upset that our soccer crew might be unable to take part in the 2021 Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl,” deputy director of athletics/chief working officer Jennifer Strawley mentioned. “However due to the variety of COVID-19 circumstances impacting our roster we do not need sufficient student-athletes to safely compete, and the well being and security of our student-athletes will at all times be our high precedence.
