Louisville’s interim president apologizes for calling school wrong name in grad speech

It’s been simply over every week since Lori Stewart Gonzalez took over as Louisville’s interim president following the departure of Neeli Bendapudi to Penn State, and amongst her first public appearances was the school’s commencement ceremony. In it, she sadly made a large bluegrass blunder.

In addressing the graduating class, Gonzalez mistakenly mentioned, “I really like the College of Kentucky,” drawing some murmurs from the Cardinal crowd.

Gonzalez didn’t appear to understand her mistake at first and continued along with her speech. When the response from the gang grew extra noticeable, she seemed round a bit puzzled earlier than finally determining what she had mentioned and having an excellent snigger at her personal expense.
