GOP Lawmaker Will Break Term Limit Pledge

Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-WI) “desires to remain in Washington longer than he beforehand mentioned he would,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel stories.

Grothman “indicated this week he would break a pledge he made throughout his first marketing campaign for Wisconsin’s sixth Congressional District to serve solely 5 two-year phrases within the Home.”

Stated Grothman: “I’ve solely been right here for — solely two of my 10 years I’ve been right here during which we had a majority with a Republican president. And I look ahead to having that scenario two years from at present.”
