Lawyer Common Merrick Garland made an unannounced journey to Ukraine on Friday to be a part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a convention, in accordance to a Justice Division official.
“The Lawyer Common held a number of conferences and reaffirmed our dedication to maintain Russia accountable for crimes dedicated in its unjust and unprovoked invasion towards its sovereign neighbor,” the official stated.
Garland traveled to Lviv, Ukraine, on the invitation of Zelenskyy to be a part of him and worldwide companions on the “United for Justice Convention.” The journey was not beforehand introduced for safety causes, the official stated.
