Former Clemson 5-star QB transferring back to program

Former five-star recruit Hunter Johnson will switch to Clemson for the 2022 season, he instructed 247Sports.
Johnson, 24, was initially a 5-star recruit in 2017, when he dedicated to Clemson. He performed one season with the Tigers earlier than transferring to Northwestern.
“I initially reached out to Coach Swinney to actually see if he had any GA [graduate assistant] spots,” Johnson instructed 247Sports. “I reached out to him and he requested if I had my sixth 12 months due to COVID-19 and I instructed him I nonetheless did. It wasn’t actually my intention initially of calling him.
