An airstrike in Ethiopia’s northern area of Tigray has killed 56 people and wounded at least 30 in a camp for the internally displaced, two help staff have mentioned.

Each help staff, who requested to not be named, mentioned the variety of useless has been confirmed by the native authorities.

The help staff additionally despatched Reuters footage that they had taken of the wounded in hospital, who included many youngsters.

Army spokesperson, Colonel Getnet Adane, and authorities spokesperson, Legesse Tulu, didn’t instantly reply to requests for remark.

The federal government has beforehand denied concentrating on civilians in the 14-month battle with Tigrayan forces.

The strike hit the camp in the city of Dedebit in the north-east of the area, close to the border with Eritrea, in accordance with the help staff.
